【Report】The Handover Ceremony of the Project for the Provision of Eye Medical Equipment in Vrindavan

The handover ceremony of “the Project for the Provision of Eye Medical Equipment in Vrindavan” under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) scheme of the Government of Japan was held on June 10, 2025, in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Anil Kumar Bhatnagar, Director of the recipient organization of the grant “Naujhil Integrated Rural Project for Health and Development,” and Ms. HOKUGO Kyoko, Minister of Economy and Development, and Mr. WATANABE Makoto, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in India.

The Government of Japan hopes this new project through the GGP scheme will improve healthcare services in the target area, enhance the quality of life of its residents, and further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Japan and India.
