Japan Month 2025

With the aim of further deepening bilateral relations in a wide range of areas such as politics, security, economics and culture, and building upon the success of last year, September-October 2025 has been designated as 'Japan Month'. During Japan Month, many events such as seminars, symposia, exhibitions focusing on trade, investment, cultural, human exchanges and other carious fields between India and Japan will be held intensively.
We would like to invite many companies and organisations to participate in Japan Month. So if you are interested in cooperating in further deepening Japan-India relations, please participate in this project in accordance with the following guidelines. For details on application, please refer to the 'Participation Guidelines'.
After your event is registered, we will post information about the event on Embassy website, disseminate information about the event on the Embassy's SNS, and provide various other support services. For details on the support provided, please refer to the 'After registration'.

If you would like to register for Japan Month, please fill in the event description and other information here (questions can also be submitted using this form). Unauthorized use of logos for events other than registered events or by third parties not registered as event companies or organizations is prohibited.
Please check the following points before applying.
1. Apply for the events that contribute to the deepening of India-Japan relations, to be mainly held in September or October 2025*;
2. Events can be held anywhere in India (events outside India are not eligible).
3. Application and registration is for free.
4. You may apply even if you have not yet decided on the detail content of your event. Please also note that there is an internal review after application (see 'After application' for details).
5. When you want to amend the content of your application, please indicate in the 'General Inquiry about Japan Month' section at the end of the application form that this is an amendment.
6. After the event, please complete the questionnaire regarding the number of visitors to the event.
7. In submitting your application, you pledge to comply with the following
(a) Not to implement any project that offends public order and morals.
(b) Not to implementany project that violates or may violate the laws and regulations of Japan or India.
(c) Not to implement projects that do not conform to the project purpose of promoting friendly relations between Japan and India.
(d) Not to implement projects that aim to spread a particular principle, political statement or religion.
(e) The applicant must not be an anti-social force and must not have any relationship with anti-social forces.
<After Application>
1. After the application has been submitted, Embassy of Japan will conduct an internal review before registration.
(a) The fact that the timing and content of the event is provisional does not mean that the applicant is immediately refused registration, but an Embassy staff may contact the applicant to confirm the purpose and detail of the event.
(b) The registration may be rejected if the target audience of the event is extremely limited, if the event's contribution to the deepening of Japan-India relations is deemed insufficient, or if the primary purpose is solely to benefit an individual company, or if the content is considered to be merely an advertisement for an individual company, or if the purpose or target audience is unclear.
2. Once the internal review has been completed, the Embassy staff will contact the person in charge of the registered event by e-mail with the results of the review.
3. If you wish to make any amendments to your application after the internal review has been completed, please submit a new application form and indicate in the 'General Inquiry about Japan Month' section at the end of the application form that the amendments were made after the internal review was completed.
1. If your project is approved, we will send the Japan Month logo. The event organisers can use the logo on the PR media. In addition, we inform you of some points to be noted regarding the project in relation to publicity, etc.

2. An event outline will be posted on the Embassy of Japan's website and posted on the Embassy's SNS accounts.
3. The Embassy will respond to various consultations regarding the implementation of the event, including requests for Embassy attendance or greetings, to the extent possible.
4. Regardless of the event's content, however, please note that we are unable to provide any financial or personnel support.
