Handover Ceremony of the Project for Provision of Eye Medical Equipment for the Rural Underprivileged People, Noida, Uttar Pradesh

The handover ceremony of “The Project for Provision of Eye Medical Equipment for the Rural Underprivileged People, Noida, Uttar Pradesh,” under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) scheme, was held on 19th April 2022, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sushil Choudhry, Managing Trustee of Ishwar Charitable Trust, the recipient organization of this grant and Mr. MIYAMOTO Shingo, Minister (Economic and Development), Embassy of Japan in India.

The Government of Japan hopes that these projects will contribute in improving the medical environment of the project areas and enhance the accessibility of medical services for the people in need. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. On this auspicious occasion, we will further develop the friendly and cooperative relationship between Japan and India.
