Three Grant Assistance Projects in the amount of 24.2 million Yen signed

The signing ceremony of the Grant Contracts (G/Cs), relating to 3 projects under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) scheme, was held on 9th March 2020, at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi.
In the ceremony, the G/Cs were signed between H.E. Mr. Satoshi Suzuki, Ambassador of Japan to India, and the representatives of the respective recipient organizations.
On the occasion, Ambassador Suzuki expressed his wish that these grants would help improve the lives of people in the project areas, and further strengthen the friendly relationship and cooperation between Japan and India.

(1) “The Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment for Maternal and Child Health Care for the Underprivileged, Ashok Vihar, Delhi”
Recipient Organization: Jivodaya Hospital
Total amount of the Grant: 7.7 million Yen

(3) “The Project for Provision of Eye Medical Equipment for the Rural Underprivileged People, Noida, Uttar Pradesh”

Total amount of the Grant: 7.5 million Yen
