Grant Aid Project signed in the amount of 174 million Yen

The signing ceremony of the grant aid project towards Bhutan under Japan’s ODA scheme, namely, the Exchange of Notes (E/N) for “The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship”, was held on 19th June 2019, at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi.
In this ceremony, the E/N were signed between H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, and H.E. Maj. Gen. Vetsop Namgyel, Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan.
On the occasion, Ambassador Hiramatsu expressed the wish that Japan would like to further contribute towards the economic development of Bhutan by meeting various needs of the country, by better combining Grant Aid, GGP and Technical Cooperation.
