Ambassador ONO Felicitates Ms. Ajanuo Belho on the Conferment of Decoration

Mr. Keiichi Ono, Ambassador of Japan to India, today hosted a ceremony to felicitate Ms. Ajanuo Belho, Leader of the Kohima Japanese Bone Collection Team, on receiving the Decoration of the Oreder of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.
Ms. Ajanuo Belho was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in recognition of her outstanding contribution in the areas of the recovery of the remains of the war dead and consolation of Japanese fallen soldiers in the Battle of Kohima and promoting friendly relationship between the Japan and India.
Ambassador Ono congratulated Ms. Ajanuo Belho on her contributions in the above-mentioned areas.
Ms. Ajanuo Belho expressed her desire to continue to work to strengthen the friendship between the peoples.
