2025 Spring Conferment of Decorations

On 29th April, the Government of Japan announced the list of foreign recipients of the 2025 Spring Conferment of Decorations. Following five persons are among this year’s foreign recipients from India.
The Embassy of Japan in India has the honour to pay respect to the contributions they made for strengthening Japan-India relations in the last few decades.

Admiral Radhakrishnan Hari Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC (Retd) (Former Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy)
  Type of the Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star
  Service : Contributed to strengthening the relation between Japan and India on national defense 

Ms. Ajanuo Belho (Leader, the Kohima Japan Bone Collection Team)
  Type of the Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays  
  Service: Contributed to strengthening Japan-India relationship in the areas of bone collection and consolation of Japanese fallen soldiers in the Battle of Kohima and promoting friendly relationship between the two countries
 
Mr. Sumit Mullick (Former Chief Secretary, Maharashtra State)
  Type of the Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays  
  Service: Contributed to promoting interregional exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and India
 
Mr. Naga Venkata Bapiraju Kotla (Former Local Employee, Embassy of Japan in India)
  Title of the Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays
  Service: Contributied to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment
 
Mr. Jasmit Singh Bedi (Former Local Employee, Embassy of Japan in India)
  Title of the Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays
  Service: Contributied to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment
