Presenting the Certification of Appreciation on promoting Quality Infrastructure in India

On 4 April, Mr. Jun Tsumori, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan in India, formally presented a prestigious Certificate of Appreciation on promoting Quality Infrastructure to Mr. Kuldip Narayan, Joint Secretary (IC), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoUHA) at his office.
This certificate was awarded by Minister of Infrastructure, Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT) to MoHUA, recognizing carrying out an excellent project that built the International Cooperation and Convention Center in Varanasi in India, namely Rudraksh, for adopting the Japanese technology and accomplishments.
Two Japanese companies joined the awarding ceremony, explaining their role and responsibility for the construction project of Rudraksh and participants exchanged their views and opinions on their quality control and new technologies applied in the project in order to further promotion for Quality Infrastructure in India.
It is hoped Rudraksh will serve as a base for promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges between India and the rest of world and further develop India through of the tourism sector.
On this opportunity, the Embassy of Japan in India conveyed their reaffirmation to keep Japan’s development cooperation with India to expand relationship between Japan and India.
