Ambassador SUZUKI Felicitates Mr. Ravi Chopra on the Conferment of Decoration

Mr. Suzuki Hiroshi, Ambassador of Japan to India, today hosted a ceremony to felicitate Mr. Ravi Chopra, President of Ship for World Youth Alumni Association India (SWYAA), on receiving the Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.
Mr. Chopra was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to in promoting friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and India.
Ambassador Suzuki, referring to his own memories of participating in exchange programs, congratulated Mr. Chopra for his contributions to people-to-people exchange and cultural understanding between the two countries in his capacity as President of SWYAA and President.
Mr. Chopra expressed his desire to continue to contribute to Japan-India relations, noting the important role that human exchange plays in the development of bilateral relations.
