2022 Autumn Conferment of Decorations

On 3rd November, the Government of Japan announced the list of foreign recipients of the 2022 Autumn Conferment of Decorations. Following four persons are among this year’s foreign recipients from India.
The Embassy of Japan in India has the honour to pay respect to the contributions they made in the last few decades.
 
His Excellency Ambassador Hemant Krishan Singh (Former Ambassador of India to Japan)
Title of the Decoration: Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun
Service: Contributions to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting friendship between Japan and India
 
Mr. Ravi Chopra (President of SWYAA-India)
Title of the Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays
Service : Promotion of friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and India
 
Mr. Des Raj (Former Local Employee, Embassy of Japan in India)
Title of the Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays
Service : Contribution to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment
 
Mr. Subhash (Former Local Employee, Embassy of Japan in India)
Title of the Decoration: The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays
Service : Contribution to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment

Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals
