2022 Foreign Minister's Commendations Ceremony for Mrs. Amrita Mankad

On September 21, 2022, Ambassador Suzuki held a ceremony to celebrate the conferral of the Foreign Minister's Commendation for FY 2022 upon Mrs. Amrita Mankad, Founder President and Advisor, Ohara School of Ikebana, Delhi Chapter.
The Commendation was presented to Mrs. Amrita Mankad in recognition of her long-standing contribution towards promotion of Japanese Culture in India and strengthen the relationship between Japan and India through the activities to introduce Ikebana.
Mrs. Mankad expressed that the award would motivate her to further contribute to strengthen people-to-people exchanges between Japan and India.
On this occasion, Ambassador SUZUKI delivered his congratulatory remarks.
