Ambassador Suzuki Felicitates Professor Anita Khanna on the Conferment of Decoration

Mr. SUZUKI Satoshi, Ambassador of Japan to India, today hosted a ceremony to felicitate Professor Anita Khanna, Former Professor, Centre for Japanese Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, on receiving the Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette. The ceremony was conducted in the presence of her family with the necessary precautious measures due to Covid-19 situation.
Professor Khanna was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, in recognition of her significant contributions to developing Japanese language education in India and promoting mutual understanding between Japan and India.
