‘Dialogue with States’ in Patna, Bihar

The Embassy of Japan and FICCI’s Forum of Parliamentarians organized their first joint programme ‘Dialogue with States’ on 11th June in Patna, Bihar. This dialogue series with Indian States is an attempt to highlight various aspects of cooperation between Indian States and Japan.
In the conference entitled ‘Japan meets Bihar’, Ambassador Hiramatsu gave a special address titled “Japan and Bihar: Spiritual Partnership for the Future” to over 80 distinguished guests including Shri Bhupender Yadav, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha (Chair of FICCI India-Japan Forum of Parliamentarians) and Shri Chanchal Kumar, Principal Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Minister of Bihar.
Following the address, active interactions highlighting prospective areas for cooperation between Japan and Bihar was conducted. (Text of Ambassador Hiramatsu’s address)
