JAPAN FESTIVAL GETS OFF TO A GREAT START

2017/10/30
On October 27, Embassy of Japan, together with Japan Foundation and other organizations, held the opening event of Japan Festival, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. In his opening remarks on the occasion, Ambassador Hiramatsu said that, events presented through the festival will showcase various facets and characteristics of Japan to the Indian people. Young talents from the North East region of India, who were going to leave for Japan later that day as participants of a youth invitation program called IRIS program, also joined the event.

Stein Auditorium was packed to the brim and enthusiastic audiences were spellbound by Japanese traditional music, jazz music, interaction between Ambassador Hiramatsu and NAO, the autonomous humanoid robot, Japanese cultural heritage tour with VR technology, and more.

Japan Festival will continue until the middle of December.  Please check our festival potal site for further information.
