Inauguration ceremony of ‘Pilot 180KW Ground-Mounted, Grid-Tied Solar Photovoltaic System’ in Rubesa, Wangdue Phodrang

On October 4, UNDP Bhutan handed over a Pilot 180KW Ground-Mounted, Grid-Tied Solar Photovoltaic System in Rubesa, Wangdue Phodrang in Bhutan with the support of the Government of Japan. H.E Mr. SUZUKI Satoshi, Ambassador of Japan to India attended the handover ceremony virtually. This solar system will contribute to improving Bhutan’s energy security, which is indispensable for the socio-economic development of the country.
