Ambassador Suzuki's visit to Bhutan

Ambassador Suzuki paid an official visit to Bhutan from September 3 to 8. On September 5, the Ambassador was granted audiences by His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan and by His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the Fourth King of Bhutan respectively.
In the course of his trip to the kingdom, the Ambassador called on Lyonchhen Lotay Tshering, Prime Minister of Bhutan and Lyonpo Tandi Dorji, Minister for Foreign Affairs to discuss bilateral issues. He visited the Judo Dojo (Hall) in Thimphu built with Japan’s official development assistance (ODA). He also visited other ODA project sites in Paro.
