Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects for Bhutan signed

The signing ceremony of documents for Grant Contract (G/C) for “The Project for Judojo Construction” was held on 2rd December 2018, in Thimphu, during the inauguration of Japan Weeks in Bhutan.
In this ceremony, the G/C for the above project was signed between H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, and Mr. Karma L. Dorji, President of Bhutan Judo Association.
“The Project for Judojo Construction” (Recipient Organization: Bhutan Judo Association)
This project, amounting to a total of around 14 million Yen, is aimed at constructing a Judojo (Judo Hall) which will be a base for promoting Judo, improving the practice environment, and enhancing competitiveness of Judo in Bhutan.
