Japan to cooperate on “Smart City” initiative in Varanasi

Cities are of crucial importance for realizing economic and social development. Japan is cooperating with India on the “Smart City” initiative in the cities of Ahmedabad, Chennai and Varanasi. The attached slides are some examples of Japan-India cooperation to transform Varanasi into a smart city.
