On 14 July 2011, H.E. Mr. Takeaki Matsumoto, Foreign Minister of Japan, sent a message of condolence to H.E. Mr. S.M. Krishna, Minister of External Affairs of India, conveying his deepest sympathy for the victims of the brutal terrorist attacks on July 13 in Mumbai. He also extended his condolences to the bereaved families, and prayed for the early recovery of those injured.
The Government of Japan strongly condemns these terrorist attacks and reaffirms its intention to continue cooperation with India on counter-terrorism.
