1.
Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs,
will visit India from August 12 (Thu.) to 13 (Fri.).
2. Foreign Minister Kawaguchi will hold talks on the evening of
August 12 with Mr. Natwar Singh, Foreign Minister of India, on
specific measures for further strengthening the Japan-India Global
Partnership. The Minister will also call on the Prime Minister
of India and other high-ranking dignitaries on August 13, to exchange
views on bilateral relations, global issues, etc.
4. This is Foreign Minister Kawaguchi’s second visit to India (first
visit: January 2003).
