3.Projects

(1)Tamil Nadu Investment Promotion Program ($130 million)

Japanese ODA loan is granted in order to encourage policy improvement for investment expansion and to promote the quick implementation of infrastructure projects such as road, power, and water and sewer in Tamil Nadu State. This project aims to help increase foreign direct investment in Tamil Nadu State.

(2) Campus Development Project of Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (Phase 2)($177.03 million)

Japanese ODA loan is granted in order to improve education and research environment through the construction of the facilities in Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, one of the best higher education institutes in India. This project aims to help strengthen human resource development between Japan and India in the field of engineering, science & technology, human and academic exchanges.
