Japan Education Fair to be held in New Delhi & Bangalore

During the Japan-India Annual Summit Meeting held on 28 December 2011, Prime Ministers of the two countries expressed their resolve to continue efforts to facilitate people-to-people exchanges between Japan and India.

Under this recognition, in order to attract more international students, Japan Education Fair will be organized on 30th August, 2012 (Thursday), from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, at Delhi Public School (DPS) R. K. Puram (Sector XII, New Delhi) and on 1st September, 2012 (Saturday), from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Vivanta by Taj, M. G. Road, Bangalore.

Japanese 11 outstanding universities (Doshisha University, Kyushu University, Meiji University, Nagoya University, Osaka University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Ritsumeikan University, The University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, University of Tsukuba, Waseda University) will be participating in the fair.

In this event, there will be counseling with respective universities, Japanese anime movies (Delhi), panel discussion on studying in Japan (Bangalore). Along with that, the Embassy of Japan/Consulate of Japan will also participate in the event and provide information regarding Japanese Government Scholarships and other related matters.

In addition to Japan Education Fair in New Delhi and Bangalore, Orientation Seminar for Project for Future Researchers at IITH (Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad) to Enhance Network Development with Scholarship of Japan (FRIENDSHIP) will be organized by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) at Lecture Hall 3, IITH from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm on 3rd September, 2012 to introduce Ph.D/Master scholarship in Japan for IITH students. Japanese eight major universities, namely Keio University, Kyushu University, Nagoya University, Osaka University, Ritsumeikan University, Tohoku University, University of Tokyo, Waseda University, will be participating in the seminar.
