During the Japan-India Annual Summit Meeting held on 25 October 2010, Prime Ministers of the two countries stressed upon the importance of academic and people-to-people exchanges between Japan and India.
Under this recognition, in order to attract more international students, Japanese Core Universities for Internationalization, the “Global 30” Project Universities, will organize a Japan Educational Seminar, on 28th January 2011 (Friday), at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Under the “Global 30” Project, 13 prestigious Japanese universities function as core institutions to receive and educate students from abroad. A student can obtain a degree from these universities in courses taught in English, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In this seminar, there will be presentations by the “Global 30” Project Universities, lecture demonstrations and individual consultations. Along with that, the Embassy of Japan will also participate in the event and provide information regarding Japanese Government Scholarships and other related matters.
