Japanese Film Festival at Chandigarh 15th to 21st November 2008 Government Polytechnic for Women, Chandigarh The Embassy of Japan, the Japan Foundation, Chandigarh Film Society, Federation of Film Societies of India in association with Chandigarh Tourism, and STEPS present a weeklong festival of Japanese films comprising classics to contemporary animation films. The films scheduled to be screened are: Retrospective of renowned Japanese director, Keisuke Kinoshita His highly acclaimed works, namely, The Morning of the Osone Family, Woman, A Record of Youth, Carmen’s Pure Love, Twenty four Eyes, Spring Dreams and the Scent of Incense are scheduled to be screened. Other highlights of the festival are: award winning animation films – Doraemon and the Little Dinosaur and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time The package also includes - world famous Akira Kurosawa’s Sanjuro and Takashi Yamazaki’s Always – Sunset on Third Street For screening schedule please click here: |
