by Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India(JCCII) 2014

10 June, 2014

JCCII has today submitted “Suggestions for the Government of India 2014” (List of Suggestions) to Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

JCCII has been submitting the Suggestions every year since 2009 and this is the sixth Suggestions.

The Suggestions 2014 contains about 40 items in 11 chapters (e.g., Tax system, Banking sector, Logistics and Distribution, Visa and Infrastructure).

There is no question that reinvigorating the economy is the foremost agenda of the new government. The entire world is eagerly waiting the revival of the Indian economy. It is in this context that Japan and its business community are anticipating at the earliest a strong and clear commitment to, and implementation of, reforms and economic revitalization measures.

It is hoped that the Suggestion items would contribute to the better business environment and accelerate investment from Japan and business expansion in India.
