Visit of Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu to West Bengal


Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu visited the State of West Bengal from January 7th to 9th. During his visit, Ambassador paid courtesy calls to the Honorable Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee at the State Secretariat, Nabanna on January 7th, and to H. E. Mr. Keshari Nath Tripathi, Governor of West Bengal, at Raj Bhavan on January 8th. Then, Ambassador attended “Bengal Global Business Summit 2016” and visited Netaji Bhavan, which commemorates Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. On January 9th, Ambassador visited Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan and talked with Indian students learning Japanese.
