Ambassador Hiramatsu visited Bengaluru on March 22 and 23, 2016, and paid courtesy calls on H. E. Mr. Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, the Honourable Governor of Karnataka, and H. E. Mr. K. Ambassador Hiramatsu also attended the factory opening ceremony of Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (Japanese company for manufacturing large capacity industrial motors), and visited Sony India Software Centre and a Japanese language training course conducted by the company.
