HARMONY – Japan Week at Tagore International School

Tagore International School had organized Harmony, a week long activities to foster a closer relationship between the two countries. The festival aimed at opening little windows showcasing the aesthetics, intellect and the indomitable spirit of the Japanese. Events included Origami Competition, Interschool Symposium on Indo-Japanese Friendship, Ikebana Workshop, Calligraphy Competition, and Talk on Japanese Cinema.

On the last day, Taiko (Japanese drums) and Hayashi (Festival Music) were performed by the students at Japanese School and both Japanese and Indian students enjoyed traditional Japanese Bon Dance.
