Young Leader’s Program (YLP) Student
(Law Course)


1. Field of Study Law Course
Kyushu University, Graduate School of Law
2. Term of Scholarship From October 2018 to September 2019(One year)
3. Degree Master’s Degree will be conferred
4. Language All lectures will be conducted in English
5. Number of Scholarships Around 2 (two)
6. Qualifications (1) Nationality: Indian
(2) Age: Under 40 years old as of 1st October 2018
  (i.e. born on or after 2nd October 1978)
(3) Academic Background: Applicants must be college graduates who have achieved excellent results
(4) Others: At least 4 (four) years of full-time work experience after graduation, in a law office or in the legal section of a company or government department
  - A minimum TOEFL-PBT score of 550 or equivalent
7. Scholarship Benefits (1) Allowance: 242,000 yen (appx. Rs.1.42 lakh) per month (This may be subject to change)
(2) Transportation:
To Japan: The grantee will be provided with an economy class air ticket from the international airport nearest to the student’s home address to the Fukuoka International Airport
From Japan: After the expiration of the scholarship, the grantee will be provided with an economy class air ticket from the Fukuoka International Airport to the international airport nearest to the student’s home address
(3) School Fees: Participants will be exempted from fees for the entrance examination, matriculation and tuition
(4) Accommodation: Students can apply for a room at Kyushu University International House

CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) (for general candidates)
