India is celebrating 150th year of Rabindranath Tagore and Japan is celebrating its 60th year of cultural relation with India. Rabindranath Tagore’s visits to Japan have played an important role to bring India and Japan more close to each other.

About 40 poets from Japan would be coming to India. There will be two days seminar in New-Delhi during 3rd-4th February, 2012. This will give the Japanese and Indian participants to engage with one another and carry forward research in the area of mutual literature and culture and strengthen partnership between India and Japan. There will be two key-note addresses , research paper presentations , poetry recitations and performances.
