Grant Aid for Bhutan signed in the amount of 2,156 million Yen
The signing ceremony of the Exchange of Notes (E/N) for Grant Aid, was held on 16th December 2016, at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi.
In this ceremony, the E/N was signed between H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, and H.E. Maj. Gen. Vetsop Namgyel, Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan.
Ambassador Hiramatsu stated that Japan has decided to reconstruct the bridges on Primary National Highway No.4 with the purpose of not only developing the economy of Bhutan, but also to secure the safety of its people, and would like to continue with such cooperation in the future.
