First Batch of Indian Nursing Trainees pays a Courtesy Visit upon Ambassador Hiramatsu

On 8th April, Ambassador Hiramatsu received a courtesy visit by three nursing trainees, who are scheduled to visit Japan shortly.
They have been working as nurses at hospitals in India, and have also been learning Japanese, besides training in nursing skills at NAVIS HUMAN RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED, with the objective of improving nursing skills in India.
These three trainees will be leaving for Japan on 10th April, and another three trainees will be leaving on the 9th. They will start their training as Nursing Trainees at nursing homes in Chiba and Aichi Prefecture.
Under the Asia Health and Wellbeing Initiative (AHWIN), the Government of Japan is cooperating with the Government of India to support the dispatch of Indian nursing trainees to Japanese nursing homes, with the aim of improving medical and nursing skills in India.
Ambassador Hiramatsu encouraged these trainees, saying that he hoped they would learn well at the Japanese nursing homes and become leaders in the field of medical care and nursing in India.
