Two Grant Assistance Projects signed in the amount of 14.8 million Yen

The signing ceremony of the Grant Contracts (G/Cs) for Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) related to 2 projects, was held on 5th March 2019, at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi.
In the ceremony, the G/Cs were signed between H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India, and the representatives of the respective recipient organizations.
On the occasion, Ambassador Hiramatsu expressed his wish that this grant would help improve the lives of people in the project areas, and further strengthen the friendly relationship and cooperation between Japan and India.

(1) “The Project for Establishment of Basic School cum Vocational Training Centre for Underprivileged Children”
Recipient Organization: Huda Educational and Social Welfare Society
Total amount of the Grant: 7.3 million Yen

(2) “The Project for Solar PV Plant on the roof top of Vishnu Bhagwan Public School Hostel Building, Jhalwa, Allahabad”
Recipient Organization: UTTHAN – Centre for Sustainable Development and Poverty Alleviation
Total amount of the Grant: 7.5 million Yen
