2018 Autumn Send-off Reception held for Japanese Government Scholarship Students

The 2018 Autumn Send-off Reception for Japanese Government Scholarship Students was held on 24th August, at the Ambassador’s Residence, Embassy of Japan.
 
14 Invitees who attended the Send-off Reception included participants of the Young Leaders’ Program students, Research students, Japanese Studies students and Teacher Training students, as well as representatives of relevant organizations.
 
At the beginning of the event, H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India, delivered his opening remarks, in which he emphasized the importance of giving an impetus to people-to-people exchanges between Japan and India.
 
Thereafter, 2 speakers on behalf of the participants made presentations to share their motivation to apply for the MEXT scholarships and their future endeavors after completing their studies in Japan, and one of the participants made a presentation to narrate her experiences in Japan.
 
The event concluded with warm comments by Dr. Ashok Jain, Chairperson, MOSAI, on behalf of the guests.
