Official Working Visit of External Affairs Minister Swaraj to Japan

EAM Swaraj made an official working visit to Japan from March 28th to 30th.
On the 29th, Foreign Minister Kono held the 9th Japan-India Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue with EAM Swaraj. Both sides discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship, and held discussions on regional issues including DPRK, as well as global issues. Following the Japan-India Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue, Ambassador Hiramatsu and Ambassador Chinoy signed and exchanged notes concerning the provision of four yen loan projects including the Mumbai Metro Line 3 Project (II), in the presence of Foreign Minister Kono and EAM Swaraj (https://www.mofa.go.jp/press/release/press4e_001978.html).
On the 30th, EAM Swaraj made a call on Prime Minister Abe, where both sides discussed the depth of the bilateral relationship, and touched upon the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Japan this year.
