Ambassador's speech on "India & Japan: Towards A Higher Stage"

Ambassador Hiramatsu talked about the ways to elevate ever-flourishing Japan-India relations to a higher stage at an event organized by Ananta Aspen Centre on 6 February. The talk was chaired by Honorable MP B J Panda and attended by Honorable MPs Prem Das Rai, Sugata Bose, Vivek K Tankha and Bharatendra Singh and other distinguished guests including scholars, diplomats, business people and students.

In his speech, Ambassador Hiramatsu elaborated five areas from which Japan is hoping to have new signature projects of Japan-India relationship, i.e., 1) Defence and Security Cooperation, 2) Strategic Connectivity including India’s North East Region, 3) Cooperation in “Make in India”, 4) Environment and 5) Japanese Language Education.
