Ambassador Hiramatsu gave a lecture on the geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific region at IHC
On December 8th, Ambassador Hiramatsu made a speech titled "Japan's perspective of the Changing geopolitics of Asia" as part of a lecture series "Changing Asia", hosted by India Habitat Centre in collaboration with the Society for Policy Studies.
The event was chaired by Director of Society for Policy Studies Commodore C. Uday Bhaskar, and was attended by over 70 people.
Ambassador Hiramatsu expounded on Japan’s perspective on the dynamic Indo-Pacific region, starting with a strategic overview, then moved on to how Japan can contribute with its "Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy", as well as highlighted the significance of a robust Japan-India relation for the peace and stability of the whole region and beyond, among other topics.
