Ambassador Hiramatsu emphasizes the importance of Japan-India travel and tourism relationship at “BITB India Outbound Summit”

On 9th June, Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu attended the “BITB (Bharat International Tourism Bazaar) India Outbound Summit” held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. In his keynote speech at the event, Ambassador Hiramatsu emphasized the vital role of travel and tourism relationship in the strategically important international ties between Japan and India, and also mentioned about the rapid growth in Indian outbound tourism market.
Embassies and Tourism Offices in India, Indian Tourism Industry, and Airlines participated in the “BITB India Outbound Summit” and held discussions on how to deal with challenges in the fast growing Indian Outbound market that has not caught enough attention of the Indian Tourism Industry till now.
