Ambassador Hiramatsu meets Hon'ble Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal

On 25^th May 2017, Ambassador Hiramatsu had a meeting with Mr. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines in the Government of India. Five Japanese companies (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Toshiba, NIDEC and NEC), as well as JICA joined the meeting.

They had an intensive discussion focusing on concrete projects such as enhancing air quality control for coal thermal power plants, grid stabilization, bio fuel, municipal waste to energy, pump storage hydro power, solar irrigation, and others.
