On 10th May 2017, Ambassador Hiramatsu attended the product launch ceremony of KAI Manufacturing India. Kai Group is a leading cutlery-related manufacturer of Japan, with more than 100-year long history.
Their razors, kitchen knives, and nail clippers are produced in Neemrana, Rajasthan.
Mr. Boman Irani, a Bollywood actor known for his roles in 3 idiots, PK, Don, and Munna Bhai MBBS, also participated in the launch ceremony.
