Students from Koryo High School came to India

2017/3/27
On March 23, 10 students from Koryo High School, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, visited Apeejay School, Pitampura, as part of their educational trip program to India. Koryo High School, one of the Super Science High Schools (SSH) selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan, is the only school in Japan which chose India as a destination of their educational trip.

Students from both schools introduced their respective school to each other, following which, the Japanese students also made a presentation on their science experiments. Students then discussed current issues of common interest, including usage of SNS, enjoyed sports, and experienced Japanese traditional culture, such as origami, kamizumo and ayatori.

During their 4 days visit to India, students from Koryo High School also visited Delhi Technological University, Delhi Metro, and an industrial site operated by a Japanese company. Since this was their first visit to India, every single moment was inspiring and informative for the Japanese students. We hope they continue to be interested in India, and look forward to having more young guests from Japan in the future!
