MOSAI Institute of Japanese Language (MIJL) produced 188 graduates at the year of 2016

On February 18, MIJL conducted a graduation ceremony at the JNU campus. 188 students have successfully completed their 222 hours course and passed the final examination. Ambassador Hiramatsu attended the graduation ceremony to felicitate these graduates. He handed over the commendations and commemorative shields to prize winners of each course, and graduation certificates to all the students enrolled in the advanced course. In his address on the occasion, which was made in Japanese, he mentioned that the relationship between Japan and India is very close, and Japanese companies are eager to accept those who can speak Japanese and understand Japanese values. Ambassador also expressed his resolve to improve the situation of Japanese language learning, and to make every effort so that Japanese language learners can play an important role as bridges between the two countries. At the same event, a graduation ceremony for participants of the Teachers Training course, co-presented by the MIJL and Japan Foundation New Delhi, was held. 17 trainees, including 6 Japanese, have graduated from this course and are expected to become Japanese Language teachers with pedagogy skills.
