Send-off Event for Students who will shortly leave for Japan to study

On Aug. 31, 2016, Ambassador Hiramatsu held a Send-off Event at the Ambassador’s residence for students who will shortly leave for Japan to study. This event aimed to encourage the students who will be leaving for Japan this autumn under Japanese Government Scholarships. Including 15 Indian students, a total of 31 guests such as representatives of Japanese companies and Japanese universities in India, as well as some Japanese students studying in India joined the event. On the occasion, the Indian students strengthened their resolution for studying in Japan, after receiving various kinds of information from the guests, which helped them ease their anxiety about different aspects of studying in Japan.
