The Japanese Government offers seven Categories of scholarships for Indian students as given below:

5	Japanese Studies Student	Undergraduate level leading to Certificate	About 8	Jan/Feb	Open. Names of applicants should be nominated by the University where the applicants are learning Japanese language.
6	Young Leaders’ Program Student	Masters Degree course	About 8	Jul/Oct	Applications closed for 2012
7	Teacher Training Student	Undergraduate level leading to Certificate	About 2	Jan/Feb	Open. Applications have to be submitted by Schools
